Terrible- Think long and hard before you sign a le

I certainly agree that they will say anything to "get you in the door". Maintenance has been poor among many other things. Things were not always this bad. Management was changed several months ago and things have really gone downhill. Evidently, the new management is in as a temporary fix to ensure all residents are "upgraded" to the newly re-done apartments. $300 extra per month for a wood floored kitchen and painted cabinetry. Those that choose to remain in the "old" apartments are facing constant rent increases and shorter lease terms. I have been told that my next maximum lease term is 3 months, unless of course I choose to upgrade. I have noticed that the management is extremely quick in one area - bills. The second a resident utility account becomes late you are definately made aware of it. 2 letters on your front door and two mailed letters within the space of four days. The bad part about it is that, in the letters, you are reminded of how you are in a violation of the terms of your lease by not paying on time, when in fact they also are in violation by disregarding the routine needs and concerns of their residents. Sad. Make sure you know what you're getting into. I would suggest asking anyone walking around the complex when you visit about what their experience has been. That the TRUE story. |
