Apartment Review for Santa Rosa Apartments - Irvine, CA

After my 6 month lease was up, I was told unless i sign another lease my rent would go up about 20%. Yhis was called a "Management Fee" to "encourage renters to re-sign". If I signed another lease, it would go up apprx 8%. After 6months it went up another 12% for yet, not signing another lease. Calls went unanswered to the management and I was ignored by the regional office when asked for an explanation of the "Management fee" which should be called EXTORTION FEE!!!! I was also only allowed to use COX tleephone service at the time 20% more than the competing company. After moving in as the required working phone jack. Again my call went unanswered by management as to why they make us use(unless we want to pay for connection service) a more expensive company, as this was not beneficial to the thousands of apartment dwellers
