Apartment Review for Park West Apartments - Irvine, CA

Moved to Irvine last year for a new job and were looking for something decent…We lived there from 2006 - 2007 (1 year) to be fair We got lucky and got one of the good apartments away with privacy...2 bedroom very spacious living room and bedroom plenty of closet space…(we love to cook) and the kitchen was extremely small … the neighbor downstairs were young collage student and in the second bedroom blast music like 3:00 in the morning and you can feel the bass in the master bedroom…but for most part they were quite…The person who signed us up is no longer there but she was very very nice… At times I had to call them several times for maintenance to come over. I won’t event mention parking cus there were none…3 times I had some one park in my spot…Another biggest disappointment…When we signed up they told us the Jr. Olympic swimming pool will be available and warm year around...well they lied...every time I went after work the light in the pool was off and the water was freezing cold...I called them more then 3 times and was insulted…they told me well do you know it is not a Jacuzzi so it will not be warm…I said I know it’s not even 70 degree...JOKE!...do you think I know the difference between hot and warm...anyway I never got a chance to swim in that JOKE wana be lying year around Jr. Olympic pool ... If you don’t care about that stuff and parking then it’s a good start…Oh the reason we moved was that summer it was especially hot and no central AC but the number 1 reason they raised the rent so high that it was worth getting another apartment with central AC granite counter top and new interior for that price…So if you “have” the key word have to rent there ask plenty of questions and choose a wise apartment…
