Apartment Review for Heritage Point - Irvine, CA

In all the places i have lived in irvine as a college student- i have to say this is the ghettos of irvine. Upon moving in the carpet was still damp and musty from the previous owner- not only that- the carpet was stained. During out walk through at the begining of the lease we noted the stained carpet, but still we were charged to reclean it- taken from our security deposite. The walls are thin and the neighbors are inconsiderate. I called the police three times in the three months that i lived there for noise complaints. There is no parking and if you come home late- count on sleeping in your car for the night, this complex does not offer enough parking spaces for 2 cars per unit. The complex charges 5 dollars for a laundry card that is non refundable and a total of 3 dollars for one wash and dry. If you have to live here do not live on the first floor apartments it is like living in a cave- no light an anytime a day. The rain gutters are ill maintaned and were not made to dampen noise. They changed the cable service from Cox to Skylink- a shady deal in which arnel has its own interest in mind with a partnership with skylink. Also another way to waste your money- gas and water are all communal bills - so it doesnt matter how much you conserve its how much your neighbor uses. The property is in terrible condition- the kitchen and bathroom floors are laminte tiles- that curl up if it gets wet, there are large insects all around the property. The only good things about living there? - short lease terms and on property maintence.
