Apartment Review for Heritage Point - Irvine, CA

I've lived in apartments for over 10 years and this one is by far the worst. Traffic from the 5 fwy is so loud I have to wear earplugs to sleep at night. Forget about keeping the windows open to let in air, you'll just let in more traffic noise. Parking situation is insane, the towing company Arnel contracts with (Medlin's) is by far the worst. They towed my car and it had a parking sticker on it! I think they have some sort of kick back scheme with the managers cuz they don't care about it either. Luckily I paid with a CC and immediately reversed the charge. Laundry situation stinks, about 1/3 washers and dryers broke ALL the time. A/C broke in the middle of summer, took maintenance 1 week to fix. Apartments are so old, I leaned up against a wall one day and it caved in! That took maintenance 2 months to fix. I could have fixed it in 1/2 hr. The complex is overrun with FOBs so be prepared to like the smell of curry and kimchi. Arnel kicked out Cox cable for some off brand called Skylink. A little research revealed that Skylink is owned by Arnel. They are overpriced from what channels and options they give you. Overall a horrible experience. I hope this complex gets leveled in a earthquake.
