Apartment Review for Alta Court - Irvine, CA

All of the reviews that I read are true. Some might be over exaggerated, like that it's "horrible here". That's not true. I've been here for 10 months now. It's not perfect, there is a NEED for improvement. But there are a lot of good things too. The property is STILL beautiful. The location is ideal. Everything is near by. The construction is just about done, thank god! I never found the staff to be rude either. I agree that we were misled when signing the contract in regards to the second entertainment room, parking and construction noise. The second entertainment room was promised to be done last year and it's still not open! The owners of the property are the ones that I would blame for that, not the staff. The worms and now Rolly-Poleys are a nuisance. I hate it and wish it would be dealt with more effectively. I have more complaints about some of the residents who don't follow the "property guidelines". They leave garbage all over the trash shoot rooms, instead of doing what they are suppose to do and take it down to the garage level and neatly place it next to the trash room. The BBQ's were awesome, but now are disgusting and barely work. This is because people don't know how to properly use them and don't clean up after they use them. Plus, you're not suppose to pour thick sauces directly into the BBQ...that really pisses me off! The "club house" now has a curfew, because some SELFISH IDIOT threw a party and trashed the place. So the "community" itself has a lot to improve upon too.
